About Me – Suzanne Teale

Hi, I’m Suzanne — founder of Unlock Potential Hypnotherapy, qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist (SFHD, LAPHP), and mindset coach.

I’m a proud Mancunian, mum to two grown-up children, and owner of one very cheeky miniature Schnauzer. With 30 years of commercial experience managing teams and working in fast-paced corporate environments, I understand what it’s like to perform at a high level while raising a family, supporting ageing parents, and quietly battling my own mindset through periods of stress, overwhelm, self-doubt, and — at times — physical health challenges.

My own journey has included infertility treatment, caring for my mum through dementia, facing significant health issues, and still climbing the corporate ladder. Through it all, I learned how deeply our minds affect our health, happiness, and ability to cope — and the life-changing power of accessing the right support at the right time.

That’s why I retrained, swapping high-pressure boardrooms for a role that lets me make a meaningful difference every day. Today, I help people take back control, build resilience, and feel good about life again — using practical, science-backed therapeutic techniques that work. Fast.

Why I Do This Work

For years, I watched brilliant people — colleagues, clients, and friends — strain under the weight of pressure from all areas of their lives: family, work, relationships, society.

Conversations I had over the years confirmed what I was seeing — and it wasn’t enough to just notice it. I wanted to do something about it.

So I retrained in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, a highly effective approach that blends Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), neuroscience, CBT, and NLP. It’s a powerful toolkit that helps people manage their minds, gain clarity, and move forward with greater control and confidence.

Now I run a thriving practice, supporting:
