Walking Therapy
Clear your mind, one step at a time.
Sometimes the best conversations don’t happen sitting across a desk — they happen while moving side by side, in nature, with space to breathe. Walking therapy combines the proven benefits of hypnotherapy and mindset coaching with the calming, restorative power of being outdoors.
At Unlock Potential Hypnotherapy, I offer walking therapy sessions as an alternative to the traditional therapy room. It’s a gentle, effective way to explore your thoughts, reduce stress, and find clarity while literally moving forward.
How Walking Therapy Can Help
Movement, fresh air, and nature naturally boost wellbeing. When combined with focused therapeutic conversation and relaxation techniques, walking therapy can help you:
Reduce stress and anxiety while enjoying a calmer environment
Feel more comfortable opening up in a natural, relaxed setting
Gain perspective and clarity on challenges in your life
Support physical and mental health together
Leave each session with a lighter mood and clearer outlook
For many people, the rhythm of walking helps thoughts flow more freely, making it easier to reflect and find solutions.

What to Expect
Walking therapy begins with a free 15-minute discovery call to decide if this approach is right for you. Sessions are held outdoors in safe, accessible routes, at a pace that suits you.
Each session lasts around 50 minutes and combines light walking, therapeutic conversation, and, where appropriate, relaxation techniques and mindfulness.
You don’t need special equipment — just comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather.

Take the First Step Towards Clarity
Walking therapy is about more than exercise — it’s about moving forward in every sense. With the right support, you can reduce stress, gain clarity, and feel grounded.
